What is eTalentTraks?
It is a pre-employment screening assessment for the today’s work force.

What does it assess?
eTalentTraks measures an applicant’s preferred work style and matches that work style to the essential work tasks of the job.

How does eTalentTraks identify what to match?
eTalentTraks uses the process of job content validation to predict which job tasks are most essential to predicting success.

The process of matching a person’s work style to the tasks of a job is based on a thorough and analytical analysis of the work to be performed. A large part of the results of the job analysis include the identification of specific tasks that are performed to achieve the outcomes of the job as a whole. These tasks are then weighted and linked empirically to work behavior that is most effective in performing the tasks successfully.

What are Work Style Competencies?
A competency is a standardized requirement for an individual to properly perform a specific job. It encompasses a combination of knowledge, skills and behavior utilized to improve performance. More generally, competence is the state or quality of being adequately or well qualified, having the ability to perform a specific role.

Universal Competency Model was developed by the Society of Industrial Organizational Psychologists (SIOP) to better define the use of competency measures. The model provides a set of universal and accepted definitions of the competency by name.

How is eTalentTraks different from other assessments?
Candidate results can be matched against a job or jobs, a job group, a company culture, and an industry all at the same time.

Is eTalentTraks industry specific?
The eTalentTraks software platform currently contains detail job requirement information from 10 industry groups as well as jobs from the public sector. Utilizing the software’s multiple scoring processes, candidate results can be matched to any combination of industries and jobs all at the same time.

Does eTalentTraks provide any client driven or customizable features?
Yes, it is both customizable and scalable.

How are the results presented?
Candidate results are presented as a Personal Work Style report and a Person-Job Match report.
The Personal Work Style report summarizes the individual’s responses and indicates their Work Orientation, Dependability and Work Ethic as compared to measured norm groups. The Person-Job Match results rank order and present the jobs for which this candidate is best suited within the client specified categories.

Has eTalentTraks been validated?
Yes. A criterion validation study was conducted to validate eTalentTraks’ predictability of both tenure and job fit.
